Good value for money if you get it half price via a friend's referral. Full price is quite expensive.

Really friendly reception staff.
Shame classes aren't included in the price.

University of Sussex Falmer Sports Complex says:

Thanks Lara for the feedback we are looking at the classes option going forward.

Had booked in for an initial 1 hour assessment session to write a workout plan with a personal trainer at the bargain price of £5 but for some reason only got a 30 minute machine induction instead.

University of Sussex Falmer Sports Complex says:

Thanks Lara for the feedback sorry to hear the service you received was not as expected. Did you explain to the instructor what you were expecting and did they confirm their thinking as keen to ensure this does not happen again. I am also intrigued by the £5 fee as this is not the normal charge for a fitness programme, do you know where this was advertised? Many thanks Simon

The gym is very quaint but has a good variety of machines, as i am more focused on free weights i was happy to see a plethora of free weights, bars and kettle bells located in both weight rooms.

At £7 per pass, it's a bit expensive, but the gym itself is spacious and clean. There's plenty of equipment too. It wasn't that busy when I visited, either.

University of Sussex Falmer Sports Complex says:

Thanks for the feedback always appreciated pleased you had a positive experience
