Energise Health Club is located in the heart of Goodmayes, near to the park and conveniently placed for transport links. This club is in a fully refurbished building, and was set up exclusively for women. The owners have done this to provide an opportunity for fitness for those who have felt intimidated at mixed venues. The club also caters for the wide cultural mix in the local community.
The gym has plenty of equipment for both cardiovascular and resistance work. The running machines have cooling fans to make your workout comfortable in the summer months. A selection of exercise cycles, recumbent machines and full-body exercisers mean there is plenty of choice to get the heart rate up. Add a big choice of free weights and benches to complete your workout.
Energise also runs group exercise classes. Popular favourites such as Zumba and Yoga run regularly, as well as boot camp and kettlebell workouts. Teenagers are particularly welcome – the club recognises that teen girls tend to be less active than boys and is keen to help redress this. Offering a range of passes and no contract memberships, there’s no pressure at Energise and everyone can work at their own pace.
The club also offers an infra-red sauna, together with nutritional advice and massage. Other services including life coaching and beauty treatments, making Energise a real ‘one-stop shop’. (Please note that extra charges apply for these services)
