With two swimming pools and a fully equipped gym, Isleworth Leisure Centre is becoming known as the best place in Isleworth and Twickenham to workout for under £5. The centre is quietly located near to the Thames and on the west side of Kew Gardens.
The gym contains plenty of treadmills, steppers and stationary cycles among its 100 separate exercise stations. There is a good choice of free weights together with resistance machines, Swiss balls and a mat area.
The main swimming pool is 25 metres long, and with its 15 metre width has space for three lanes. A separate learner pool is used for aquafit, over 50s and children’s sessions. If you are looking for a child-friendly swimming pool in Isleworth, this is the place for you. The learner pool is kept warmer to encourage new swimmers, while the main pool is at the right temperature for an energetic lane swim.
There are plenty of other things to do to help you to get fit at Isleworth Leisure Centre. The centre is located on Twickenham Road next to Redlees Park.
The nearest stations are Isleworth and Twickenham, both about 20 minutes walk from the centre. Both stations are served by National Rail. Buses 267 (Fulwell – Hammersmith), 481(Kingston – West Middlesex Hospital) and H20 (Ivybridge – Hounslow) all stop nearby. There is free parking available on the site.
