The flagship gym for Tower Hamlets, Mile End Park Leisure Centre offers over 130 stations in its modern and spacious gym, ensuring every type of equipment you could need is available. Enjoy the cardio and resistance machines to get a full workout, with a great range of free weights available too. The stretching areas are perfectly designed to give you enough space and aids such as Swiss balls can be used too.

The large mirrored exercise studio is available for group exercise classes, with the centre running 35+ classes a week and a wide range of options including Box Fit, Pilates, Capoeira and yoga are available.

For parents who want to get fit there is a crèche available for up to 2 hours a day open both between 9am-1pm on Monday to Saturday as well as 6pm-8pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Customers of this gym especially like the size and scale of the gym, the modern and well maintained equipment and the additional facilities including badminton and tennis, which are available for an extra cost.

There was only one counter open and a lot of people queuing. The person did a good job, however still had to wait a lot to get in.

They usually wash up the changing room floor to early, so that your shoes get wet, when you go in.

The gym was well equipped, but the sauna was for women only on the day I went. This was not stated on the gym's information page. The staff were not very familiar with pay as u gym.

There were two main issues with the gym at the moment of visit:
-Construction site: some facilities were not available due to a wall and door replacement. However, it would not be a problem if builders were not working during gym opening times and cigarette smoke coming out from opened door for the

This is a great basic gym. Every time I have been (including weekends) I have been able to get a machine which is great. Would recommend.
