The iconic, world famous Crystal Palace National Sports Centre was opened in 1964 and is a listed heritage building. Set within 200 acres of parkland, the facility provides a unique London venue steeped in sporting tradition most notably as the original host venue for the FA Cup Final but more recently was home to the Brazilian Olympic Team.
The fitness centre has recently undergone a £1million refurbishment including the installation of a modernised 100 station gym. It is spread across five different zones including a cardio area with iPod docking equipment, brand new free weights, an aero biking room, core strengthening facilities and a stretching area.
Crystal Palace National Sports Centre can be easily reached by rail and the gym is a short walk up the hill from the station. There is also plenty of free parking if you choose to drive.
