London Aquatics Centre is one of the most iconic sporting venues from London 2012 Olympics and is home to the most advanced swimming facilities in the world. The centre also offers a brand new state of the art gym, diving lessons and a whole range of sporting events. Regardless of whether you are a beginner or a trained athlete there are plenty of ways for you to get involved.
The fully equipped fitness suite is home to 75 stations that are the latest Technogym fitness equipment. Cardio machines include treadmills, rowing machines and wattbikes. Fixed resistance machines and a large free weights area provide a full body workout. The gym overlooks the Olympic competition pool so you can watch the latest event whilst working out.
The centre has 3 world-class pools, a competition pool, training pool and diving pool. Come along for a swim or sign up to one of the courses and learn to swim or improve your technique. You’ll be learning with some of the best instructors in a state of the art environment!

The London Aquatics Centre is located in East London with Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and Westfield, Stratford City situated adjacent. You can access the centre via car, bus, train and tube. Stratford tube station (DLR, Jubilee, Central and Oveground) is approximately 10 minutes walk. Stratford bus station has a large number of bus services including 25 (Oxford Street to Ilford), 69 (Canning Town to Stratford) and 104 (Manor Park to Stratford). Bus services 97 (Chingford – Stratford) and 388 (Blackfriars – Stratford) stop nearest to the centre. If you are travelling by car you can get access from the A11, A12, M11 and M25. There are 111 parking spaces available and parking is free for one hour after which charges apply.
