Pilates in Barnes teaches The Pilates Method which is a technique that centers on the balanced development of the whole body. Pilates employs whole body movements, while targeting specific muscle groups, aiming to re-educate and restore your muscular and skeletal function. Instructor Lauren McCarthy has over 20 years experience in the fitness industry, and was a former fitness trainer for the English National Ballet School.
Mats and all Pilates equipment will be provided. All you need to bring is a hand towel and make sure you wear comfortable clothing.
Classes take place in Barnes Methodist Church Hall on Station Road, Barnes. South West trains stop at Barnes Station, just a ten minute walk to the Church Hall and bus 485 (Ram Street - Hammersmith Bus Station) stops on Station Road just a few minutes away.
