About this gym

Ferry Leisure Centre is a large fitness venue with plenty to offer local residents. Located in Summertown, to the north of Oxford City Centre, it is also ideally located for those returning from a daily commute. The new gym is very well equipped with plenty of the latest machines available to use in a relaxing atmosphere. Choose from a wide range of cardiovascular and resistance machines to get yourself in top condition this year. A separate free weights area and dedicated stretching area add that much-needed variety to your fitness routine. The leisure centre has one of the best swimming pools in Oxford. It gives you the chance to try out their two heated indoor pools and extend your workout into the water. Choose from a range of fitness and recreational classes for all ages and abilities. A fantastic fitness studio offers a wide range of gym classes including Body Attack, Zumba and Yoga, ideal for those who like to add some variety to their workouts. For those who like indoor activities such as basketball, badminton and volleyball, a number of courts are available to hire in the sports hall. Squash courts can also be hired for those who like their exercise fast and furious! Had a tough workout? Why not enjoy a relaxing beverage or snack with friends or family in the Terrace Cafe afterwards. How to find us Ferry Leisure Centre is in Diamond Place on Ferry Pool Road, just off the B4495 in Summertown. Buses serving the leisure centre are 7A, 7B and City 2. Prepaid parking is available for those who choose to drive. Oxford train station is around a 10 minute drive away. **Other Notes** Please note the new changing room lockers require your own padlock, padlocks are available from reception.
