There are so many blogs out there dedicated to fitness and well-being it’s hard to choose which to follow.

So we’ve narrowed the list down to a handful. All of which should inspire, intrigue and motivate you to get fitter than ever!

Gym Talk

This humorous blog doesn’t take itself too seriously but is full of advice on training, bodybuilding and nutrition.  It has amassed a significant following over the last 3 years.

Founder Henry Croft aimed to created a blog akin to having a chat with your mates down the pub, whilst keeping the content high-quality and helpful.

GymTalk also has lots of supplement reviews, fantastic interviews with bodybuilding personalities, an active Facebook page and a forthcoming YouTube channel.

12 Minute Athlete

For those days when you really can’t get to the gym, 12 Minute Athlete features HIIT workouts consisting of extremely short, effective workouts based on cross-training, calisthenics and functional fitness. 

There are HIIT workout challenges, bodyweight exercises and plenty of fitness inspiration.

The exercise examples can be used with the accompanying 12 Minute Athlete app.

Wedges and Weights

One for the ladies. Get ready to ditch the scales and change the way you think about nutrition, fitness and mindset. 

Written by Hannah Mills, a professional fitness trainer, this blog aims to educate and inspire women to live a healthy lifestyle from the inside out.

It is crammed with the latest findings on fitness trends and foodie inspiration. You can drool over healthy delicious recipes that are easy to make yourself.

Zanna Van Dijk

If you have a passion for fitness, clean eating and travel, this is the blog for you.

Writer Zanna transformed her 6ft 2in figure to become an Instagram star, and now helps inspire others who want to follow a balanced fitness path.

You will find plenty of pictures showing how to do park bench workouts, weightlifting and cardio exercises. She also has her own sportswear brand and has written her own book.

I'm always a bit uncertain about things targeted at women - I may not want to be a big bulky bodybuilder but equally I've no interest in the latest outfits or the right hairstyles for the gym. Hopefully I can find something that is fitness first and gender right at the back of the list.
