Does anyone truly “love” their love handles? Of course not, so we’ve put together some exercises to help you say goodbye to those unwanted saddlebags once and for all.
By using more explosive exercises, and lower weight – even just your own bodyweight - you can get better results from your workout.
Follow these 3 simple moves and you’ll wonder why you ever waited this long!
- The rocket jump: Who doesn’t love jumping in the air like a loon! With this move you’ll feel like you’re in the playground again. Just don’t do it in the middle of the street, people might think you’re crazy. Stand with your feet should width apart and then bend your knees before springing up like a coil up as far as you can jump. Throw your arms above your head for added height. See, that was fun, wasn’t it!
- Medicine ball throw: This one you can do at the beach without anyone thinking you’re exercising at all. Use a beach ball if you like! Bending your knees into a semi-squat position, rise up and throw the ball into the air, extending your arms. When you catch the ball, drop back into the squat position again.
- Knee tuck jump: There’s no way of making this one look normal – but you’ll be fine doing it in the gym! Stand with feet shoulder width apart and hold your hands out in front of your chest. Jump up bringing your knees to your hands.
Do each of these exercises for 30 seconds and then repeat the whole lot seven times over. Now you’ve got a handle on it, goodbye love handles!
