The newly opened Village Gym in Bristol offers something for all levels of fitness enthusiasts, whether you’re a dedicated gym guru or just starting out your journey. The gym in BS34 boasts state of the art exercising equipment so you’re bound to find kit to suit your needs and help you reach your goals. Their cardio machines range includes rows of Technogym treadmills, cross trainers and rowing machines just to name a few. In the strength and resistance training area you’ll find the latest training kit to help build muscle, tone up and burn fat. Resistance machines such as the lat pull down, leg press and abduction/adduction machines are guaranteed to give you a well rounded workout. Free weights are also there to work on your weight training goals – there’s an abundance of dumbells, benches and barbells to tailor your session to your needs. Functional training is essential to improving every day movements, so the kettlebells, PowerBags and bosuballs at this gym will come in handy. After a vigorous workout, why not relax or practice a couple laps in the swimming pool? Swimming pool opening times: Mon-Fri 06:00-22:00, weekends 08:00-20:00. Village Gym Bristol is located on the corner of the A38 and Gipsy Patch Lane in Filton. There’s parking available on site and the closest train station is Patchway which is 10 minutes’ walk away. Village locker bands, for locker hire, may be purchased at the reception desk for a one of fee of £5. Replacements are also charged at £5, should they be required
