About this gym

To use this gym you must be 18 years or over. The recently refurbished Better Gym Woolwich is now open with a range of equipment and activities to ensure there is something for everyone. Better Gym Woolwich boasts a 132-station gym, which includes a wide range of cardio and resistance machines and a large free weights area. They also provide car park facilities, changing rooms and a fast track entry system. The gym is located in a regenerated area of South East London with new riverside developments and a Travelodge situated just behind the gym making this ideal for those visiting London. How to find: Better Gym Woolwich is located on Macbean Street in the heart of the town centre. Woolwich Arsenal (DLR) station is just a few minutes away and Woolwich Dockyard (South Eastern) train station is also nearby. A number of bus routes stop just outside the gym at Beresford Street including 51 (Beresford Square – Orpington Station), 99 (Beresford Square – Geddes Place) and 161 (North Greenwich Station – Chislehurst War Memorial). Parking is also available on site.
