Work It is much more than a gym or fitness studio; it is a new approach to how we can enhance our wellbeing and the way we work. We will work with our members on maximising their approaches to a healthy lifestyle that will have a positive effect on not only personal health, but also personal relationships and overall wellbeing.
Charlie Watts heads up Work It. He has been in the fitness industry for a number of years working as a personal trainer and strength coach. A slightly less well-known fact is that Charlie also competed as a Professional Mixed Martial Arts Fighter.
As well as teaching Boxing, Wrestling, Mixed Martial Arts and Muay Thai, he is a CrossFit Level 1 trainer, CrossFit mobility trainer and Weightlifting trainer. He is also a UK Strength and Conditioning Association affiliate (currently working towards accreditation). Charlie is studying Gray Cooks work and ensures each of his clients undergoes a functional movement assessment before he designs a training program for them. Good mechanics and movement is an important foundation, from which to increase increase, build duration ability and build speed.
Work It is located in Henry Wood House office block - ask at reception and they will direct you to the studio
