Benfield Sports Centre is a great family friendly venue. They offer a full range of cardiovascular equipment including treadmills, concept II rowers, cross trainers and stationary cycles. Their free weight area is great, offering a large range of dumbbells (up to 50kg), as well as Olympic bars, a power rack and a trap bar. They also have a large area with functional fitness equipment such as kettlebells, medicine balls, power bags, elastics and stability balls.
Benfield are proud to offer IFI (Inclusive fitness initiative) accredited fitness suite, which allows adults with a range of physical and visual impairments to enjoy a good workout. The equipment is fully integrated into the centres fitness suite, which means disabled and non-disabled gym users can exercise alongside each other.
The sports centre is located on Benfield Road, just off of the A1058. Parking is available on site.

Only one other person there - no staff to show pass to. Machines are old but serviceable. If you want to exercise then this is the ideal gym, but......tiny school changing rooms, no steam room or anything you might expect in a commercial gym, zero glamour or buzz.

Reasonably clean & tidy gym area. Nothing fancy. Changing & showers pretty basic. Note that pool is for private lessons only. Not available for you.
