Here at the Hamble Sports Complex you will find a world-class Fitness Suite, fitted out with world-class equipment 'Life Fitness' are acknowledged as world leaders in the design and manufacture of fitness equipment, and this Fitness Suite uses their products throughout! They also have two independent TVs with audio and subtitles in each forward-facing corner of the room, as well as a CD / Tape / Radio PA system with speakers in all four corners for your entertainment. Some of the exercise equipment comes with built-in reading-racks, so feel free to bring along a magazine of your choice!
The entire Fitness Suite has sprung wooden flooring and is fully under-floor heated. The forward-facing windows are always open so you'll never feel hot or stuffy whilst working out. There is a fully qualified Life Fitness Trainer (YMCA) or British Weight-Lifters Association Leader on duty at all times to answer any questions you may have. In addition, their newly refurbished, tiled, 20-metre, 4-lane Swimming Pool is the perfect place to swim! The deep end of the pool is 1.96 metres deep and the shallow end is 1.2 metres deep, and there is a fully qualified RLSS Pool Lifeguard on duty at all times. The changing rooms are fully fitted with lockers (£1 coin, returned) and there is a disabled changing room and a baby changing area too.
