About this gym

PHASE ONE Health & Fitness Centre has been operating for 10 years, although there have been training facilities on the site for nearly 20 years. This makes it one of Bath's most established and best loved Health & Fitness Centres. The emphasis is on friendliness, informality and hard work. Yes, PHASE ONE is a working Centre, for people who want to train, reach goals and get fitter. Here they believe that people need an environment in which they feel comfortable to enthuse their desire to get fit. They also believe that staff and instructors are here to help and to build a rapport with the members. Staff are approachable and get to know members personally. Each instructor is highly qualified and has immense amounts of knowledge to impart. A well structured 30 minute work out is far more effective than an inefficient hour session. Each member is treated as an individual. That said, anyone who wants to get on with their own routine is allowed to do so! This approach leads to a flexibility which allows them to cater for everyone from 16-80, runners to weight trainers, beginners to experienced trainers. In addition we provide a wide variety of classes, personal training, on site physio, sports massage, skincare and holistic treatments. Their aim is simply to continue upgrading equipment and classes while continuing to offer friendly expert services and making sure members are heading in the right direction.
