Maximum Fitness, situated behind the main row of shops near Tufnell Park tube station (Northern Line), is a fantastic gym dedicated to bodybuilding since 1983. The gym offers a no-nonsense workout in a hardworking environment and has facilities that are second to none. The club never gets too busy, at peak times they have a well co-ordinated and tidy training environment and you will always be able to go through your routine without interruption. The gym has an ethos around a training environment for all people with a focus on correct training and good instruction. The staff are always on hand to help and instruct and want everyone to get the most out of their training. Maximum Fitness have not only a great variety of machinery but also the biggest range of free-weights in London, in a disciplined and constructive environment suitable for everyone. There is also a large range of resistance machines and cardiovascular machines including an extensive range of rowers, treadmills, cycles and steppers. The weights are always where they need to be and staff have a good understanding of how people should be helped to get the most out of their gym training. Showers and changing rooms for both sexes are located inside the gym and lockers for valuables are available (the lockers are not big enough for bag storage). As a dedicated gym to all of its customers, the service does not stop at just a workout.
